Convenient location. Small room, nice bath.
A nice and clean business hotel for travelers who keep themselves busy outside the hotel and don’t spend much time in the hotel room since the room was small. With two people and two large suitcases, there was hardly any room to stay comfortably, so if you plan on spending lots of time in the room, I would recommend to pay more and find a spacious room somewhere else. Yet, the hotel had everything I needed: Yukata room wears, slippers, basic amenities; they leave a bag of clean towels and Yukata, powdered coffee/tea sets, etc. every day; at the top floor, there are large public baths with Roten bath where you can feel outside air; a washer/dryer in the public bath area; courier services (Kuroneko Yamato and airport suitcase delivery service) with additional fees. Komeda Coffee (cafe) is accessible from the lobby and that’s what you will get for breakfast if it is included in your plan. But please try the bakery next to Komeda Coffee as it was EXCELLENT (my favorite was a sandwich with deep-fried shrimp patties.) Train station and a convenient store are very close. Senso-ji temple is walkable (10-15 minutes) and there are lots of restaurants on the way.

Good location very close to Tawamachi station, have an onsen and laundry machine on top. The room was clean the staff was nice. The only suggestion is my room has a very stinking fridge smell. I guess a previous customer put fish in it or something, I opened it and it stung my whole room. And I would suggest changing to the pillow. The pillow is not comfortable it’s hard and flat. The bed and the blanket are soft. I’ll stay here again.

Good place to start your Japan trip
The hotel did the job; the room was tiny but was fine for us since it was at the start of our trip and we didn’t have much luggage yet haha. Location was good, not exactly central Tokyo but close to Sensoji temple and Kappabashi street, which I highly recommend to visit

Toilet is amazingly small and is a high step raised platform not suitable for old folks. Bed is soft and sunk in. No heating for aircon as is centrally controlled depends on how cold. Mineral water only provided on 1st day. Change of linen only every 3 days but daily cleaning can be requested. Overall not the best among hotels i stay in tokyo but given the price is just ok. Only plus point is very near a train station.

Stay somewhere else in the neighborhood.
My husband and I stayed here for four nights. The check-in was problematic and the staff uncommunicative. The room was extremely cramped to the point that we both couldn’t get dressed at the same time. The faucet in the bathroom was the strangest, most combersome thing and unlike anything else we saw during our month in Japan. Guests have no ability to adjust the heat so the room is too hot and the corridors are freezing. Finally, there is only one washing machine located in the men’s onsen area so there is always a lineup. I am not sure if there are more the women’s. The neighborhood was convenient and I would suggest one of the other hotels in the area.

Great hotel in the Asakusa district of Tokyo. Close to many restaurants and shops and about a 15-20 minute walk to Sensoji Temple. The room was small but comfortable and the shower and bed were great! The top level public bath was peaceful and clean. Stayed here twice on my recent trip to Tokyo and very much enjoyed the peace of this area compared to other districts. A short walk to different subway lines.
