I just came back from a 3 night stay. I was in frequent contact with the resort upfront to organize an airport pickup for us, but unfortunately this didn't work as they didn't organize anything for us.
After I found out that there is no beach at the guesthouse or nearby, we asked the owner if we could clear our cancellation and move to another resort. Unfortunately this wasn't possible for whatever reasons, so we had to stay in the resort, but the manager let us stay in a different room, as the rooms was supposed to have a kitchen, but there was only one room with real kitchen facilities, all the other rooms just had a place for heating up hot water, so no kitchen facilities, other as described.
When we changed rooms, the reception just mentioned two sandwhiches we has so far in terms of extra charges, so we thought, even the breakfast was not good at all, it was included, since we where told to be seated and plates etc was already reserved for us. Sould have asked twice...
As a special, we had booked dinner for $US30 / person. All we got was a lentil soup (which was good) and a plate of potatoes in butter and some vegtables in butter. But not worth $$
When we checked out we were charged an extra $12,5 USD for these poor breakfasts, although when we moved no one told us that this has an extra charge, where as for all the other eats and drinks it was clearly marked that this had an extra charge.
The owner Ushi wanted to get back to us on this, but never did.
