My recent stay at the Ibis Newcastle was quite underwhelming. Upon arrival, we experienced a several-minute wait to check in as there was only one worker attending to three people in front of us. When we finally got to our room, we were disappointed to find a noticeable white stain on the carpet, which gave an immediate impression of uncleanliness.
Additionally, the room was under-equipped, there were only two pillow on the bed and one spare in the cupboard, all were so thin that they barely provided any comfort. Puzzling why there was only one spare pillow for a double occupancy room.
Overall, while the basic amenities were present, the cleanliness and comfort left much to be desired. I would rate my stay as average, and I hope that improvements can be made in these areas for future guest.
