Underwhelming
Stayed for 1 night with my husband and toddler to visit someone undergoing physical therapy at Kaiser. Check in was easy and speedy, and the owls hanging from the ceiling were whimsical and unique. Unfortunately, it was all downhill after that. The room a/c was loud and outdated, the carpet in the room felt grimy with a huge brown stain by the bed, there were chew marks in multiple places in the bathroom where it was clear a dog tried to chew its way out, the sink drained very slowly, and it was noisy all night from the guests upstairs walking around, all the chatter from the pool until 10pm, and cars passing by with music turned way up. If there’s an opposite to “sound-proof”, then this room was it. Also, you can hear people screaming from the roller coasters at Six Flags from the hotel parking lot. It’s unexpected and sort of amusing during the day, but a little spooky after dark…
