This place has a certain charm, bit old fashioned, sloping floors and doors and no frills. However, it could do with a refresh. We were placed on the upper floor at the end of a long corridor that could do with a new lick of paint and some pictures on the wall even, maybe even a rug on the noisy wooden floor.
That said, the room was warm and bedding / bathroom were clean. Unfortunately there is nothing to do in Kennenbunk, all the fun stuff is happening in Kennenbunkport so we found ourselves driving back to Kennenbunkport to hang out and get dinner.
Can recommend the bakery behind the Kennenbunk Inn for breakfast though (The Boulangerie), which was just fabulous.
