The room was clean but small and the bed was comfortable with very clean sheets. There is a kind of mustiness in the room but you can open the window to get that out. The toilet seat was a bit rickety. Some signs of scale round the inner rim of the toilet, it could have been something yuckier but I didn't want to inspect too closely. Scale can be removed easily with a good cleaning product and toilet seats are inexpensive these days. The towels were clean and so was the shower, the shower curtain has obviously been scrubbed clean, only a trace of mildew left. The staff were friendly, helpful and eager to please. The breakfast was copious, with bread, cheese, sausages, eggs, cereals, yoghurts freely available in a buffet. They should get rid off vending machine tye juice and coffee though. Freshly made coffee and cartons of orange juice would be cheaper and nicer. They expect you to finish breakfast by nine. If you are looking for basic comfort and value for money than this is an ideal hotel. Also a half minute walk to the main station hub.
