The toilet got clogged at night time. My boyfriend asked for a plunger and was told the toilet would be fixed in the morning, which was unacceptable, so finally she (staff member) said sheâs come up to give him a plunger. Iâm not sure why she just didnât tell him sheâd give it to him when he asked for it. The AC did not work at 100% capacity, which made sense why there was a fan to plug in the room. The AC also dropped water, in which the hotel manager came up to provide a bucket to collect the dripping. The roomâs saving grace was the blackout curtains, so we got good sleep which was much needed after having to plunge the toilet at almost midnight. The hotel manager was also very kind and went above and beyond when he offered to drive us to our dinner place as we werenât able to get a taxi via Kakao taxi. We paid him and I am so appreciative of his kind gesture and hospitality.
I never got a room! I reserved and paid for a room online. I arrived by 1am as the hotel rules require, but the hotel desk was closed before 1:30am as is stated on the Orbitz website. I woke up the owner. He said sorry, he sold my room and their was nothing available. I had driven 20km from another hotel that had done the same thing to me. I still haven't been refunded after a week. Ridiculous.
