Staff very friendly, food excellent, large room only spoilt by the chair at the desk/dressing table the seat springs were gone which meant the wooden frame dug into the backs of your thighs. Would stay again in the future, hopefully by which time the chair will have been replaced.
We were in Edmondsham Room which was above the kitchen and extremely noisy extractor fan! Room was unbearable to be in until after 9pm when the fan goes off. Noise from the kitchen started on Sunday morning at 6.40am and extractor fan went back on at 7.15am! Awful stay, the most unrelaxing experience ever!
Everything was really good from the food, to the atmosphere, the people, the area and location, the rooms and being pet friendly just makes them a stand out place to stay. Loved every minute and planning on going back. Sam
We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and warm. Breakfast was very nice and staff were helpful. We had 2 rooms. The party in one of the rooms were not happy. There was a dirty towel left behind the bathroom when they arrived and the shower tray filled with water on the first morning and did not drain away. One member who had steak for the evening meal was disappointed as it was very grisly. Overall we all felt that at ÂŁ140 per room per night for just bed and breakfast was very expensive.
Lovely, quaint accommodation, set within beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much for them. My husband and I would definitely stay there again in the future.
The Inn is beautifully restored while retaining its historic character. My room was wonderfully clean and comfortable. As a woman travelling alone, I felt welcome, safe and cared-for.
A great little Hotel with a nice friendly staff The food was fantastic with a Fresh Full English breakfast and we had a meal in the hotel on arrival which was one of our best on our trip
