I only stayed for 1 night unfortunately, but I really wish I could have stayed longer. The service at the reception and the restaurant was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the most amazing thing was all the wildlife on the property! Tons of birds, insects, lizzards etc., all because they are taking such good care of the garden and all the native flowers and trees around. There were Tucans nesting in the trees, so many other different colourful birds and all the flowers had bees and butterflys around them. I didnt't even get to use the pool(s), because I was so busy watching wildlife. Also the river is a nice place to relax and walk along, on the way to town, which only takes 10 minutes. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the only things that could be improved are the juices (watery and flavoured) for breakfast and the tiny pieces of old looking (because next to the warm toaster) butter, wrapped in plastic. Besides that, it was definitely the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica (out of 6) and probably one of the best ones I have ever stayed at in general.
