We were greeted with „welcome at your second home“ and it was like it as we had to do ourselves the bed for our 6-y old. We did book a three bedroom though and made the sofa ourselves to a bed.
The worst is actually that the hotel charged the guarantee (50 USD per night, in total a 100 USD) from my visa AS WELL as the expenses we had (10 USD for granola & creek yoghurt, 29,10 USD for breakfast, 57,88 USD for dinner).
While being onside, I did ask twice on how to receive my money back, they said that it will be tackled with our expenses and the rest will be send back to my visa or if we have spendings above we pay at check out.
However, at departure both were requested to my Visa: 100 USD as well as our spendings of 96,89 USD. I asked again during check out and it was mentioned that only one the expenses will be fully charged, the guarantee will not be issued.
Back home in jet lag I saw that both had been issued, the hotel did receive an not so friendly email of me. NO REPLY.
A couple of days later I send a friendly but direct email with all attachments of our expenses, clear and transparent information asking to refund my money: STILL NO ANSWER.
If the rating could go in minus stars: a minus 2 would do for this Hotel. At such a high price letting guests do the work is not acceptable, not responding and neither sending back the money is a total disaster!
