We arrived to Nashville earlier than expected. I called the hotel ahead of time asking about early check in. They told me my room would be ready around 1:15pm. We arrived and they let us check in, anticipating our room is cleaned and everything in working order. As soon as one of us used the bathroom, the toilet wouldn’t flush. Then went to use the bathroom sink and the sink was leaking and flooded the bathroom floor. We called the front desk and they moved us rooms immediately. Upon check out, the woman at the front desk asked how our stay was. I told her it was okay, but in the beginning was just a little frustrating. She asked why and I told her about it all. She then started yelling at me about how I checked in early and it was my fault. To the best of my knowledge, I shouldn’t have been allowed to check into that room if the toilet wasn’t working and the sink was leaking enough to completely flood the bathroom. Regardless of the early check in that SHE ALLOWED, those things should have been checked before I was allowed to check in to my room. That wasn’t my fault. I told her if early check in wasn’t an option, that was fine. She insisted on 1:15pm instead of 3pm. Then yelled at me at check out. I was FLABBERGASTED. The maintenance guy allowed me to make multiple trips to take our stuff to the new room. On the last trip, he started yelling at me to get out of the old room and go to my room, as he followed me and I had no choice but to shut the door in his face.
