Cala Luna was a cute boutique hotel. The service was amazing, the food at the restaurant, highly recommend and the layout respected the landscape. However, for the price compared to other places we went to in Costa Rica, this property was way overpriced. First the rooms though comfy didn't have much storage space and if you had another guest next door, you can hear everything. We had one guy snoring next door to us and watching TV at 3am making it a challenge to sleep. Also, when we went it was low season with only 26 guests so they adjusted the options for breakfast, which was okay for us. If you get this place for $300 CDN then okay, but your high end experience will not be that of Tamarindo Diria or Westin. For comparison, for 4 nights it was $2000 CDN and that was down season.
