We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Bowling Green, Kentucky for 7-days. We had room 110 which was handicap assessable. The bed mattress should be replaced. When you lay in it, it feels like there’s a hole in the center and your body tends to lean into it. The room we had had a queen size bed, but the flat sheet felt like it was for a full-size bed. The closet was a good size, but one of the shelves in it was broken.
The bathroom shower was a problem. When you sit on the shower bench to wash up the water tends to overflow out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor, which made the floor very slippery after we got out of the shower. We had to request extra towels so that we can soak up the water as it drained out of the shower. I think the floor was at too much of an angle. I understand that since it’s handicap assessable, you cannot have a rim around the shower, which makes sense, but the angle of the floor is what cause most of the trouble. For this room, I suggest they add extra towels so that they can be used to wipe up the excess water on the floor. It can be dangerous for a person with mobility issues.
The breakfast provided was decent. There was a good variety of things to choose from. All the staff was very kind and helpful.
