This property is in a great place, with a lake, geyser (!), ducks, and fine old lodge area. There are 2 sets of rooms, with the original ones next to the lodge and the new ones by themselves. We stayed in the new ones and were very pleased with the accommodations. The property, taken as a whole, is somewhat run down. Various machines and materials are stored between the two sets of rooms, which is not attractive. The on-site bar is not open, the pool was drained and being cleaned (not available to us), and they were a bit understaffed, as the desk clerk was also the pool cleaner.
In spite of these observations, it would stay there again. This is cowboy country where the standards are different than in the city, but the rooms were spotless and comfy, so the rest is not very important. The location makes you feel good, and the air and light are wonderful.
