I arrived about 10 minutes after 4pm check-in time and the room was not ready. Waited for about 15 minutes before I was able to get in. Then discovered the TV was stuck on the Lifetime channel as the remote only worked power and volume. The window shade also did not come down so no way to stop the light from coming in the room. I called down to the front desk and reported this and was told " I'll call somebody".
A few hours passed and I walked down to try and get another remote. waited for about 10 mins with some other folks in line and no one came to the desk. Left and came back 30 minutes later and grabbed another remote for the TV. same problem, went back down and again said they would call someone.
Next day again reported issues to new front desk manager and again was told " I'll call someone ". No one ever came and neither was fixed in the 3 days I was there. These may seem like trivial issues but for what we paid for the room for the stay I'd expect everything to either work 100% or for a serious effort to fix them once the issues were reported. Neither was the case here.
With so many hotel options in Conway, my next trip out we will not be staying at this Holiday Inn. Just wasn't a great value top to bottom for the price.
