Nightlife in Ko Pha-ngan

The highlight of nightlife in Koh Pha Ngan is the Full Moon Festivals held monthly at Haad Rin. This wild party, popular with the young backpacking crowd, goes from dusk till dawn and celebrates the lunar calendar. This party is so successful that other jungle parties have sprung up to supplement it, including Black Moon and Half Moon parties, so it seems there’s always an after-dark party.

The Jelly Bar on Hin Kong beach offers a cool venue that provides instruments for impromptu jam sessions and draws many local musicians. The themed Pirates Bar looks like a pirate ship and is decorated with Jolly Roger flags and other pirate regalia. The drinks are strong, and nightly parties go on with live music. Rasta Baby is a chill reggae bar and Thai restaurant. Ku Club on Baan Thai Beach is a classic beach club with excellent resident DJs and great drinks.
