The Cottage Loaf, or “The Loaf as Llandudno locals know it, is a pub with bags of old-world charm. Featuring exposed beams, a wood-burning stove and a flagstone floor, it wouldn’t look out of place in the Welsh countryside, when in fact, it’s right in the middle of Llandudno.
While the interior is cosy in winter, there’s plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is warmer. Cask ales and craft beers accompany traditional and homemade pub grub. Everything Welsh you’d expect is on the menu, including slow-cooked pork belly, steak and ale pie, sticky toffee pudding, and a decent cheeseboard.

Johnny Dough’s Wood-Fired Pizza is a rustic diner that began as a mobile business serving pizza at local events and festivals. A positive local response meant there was a demand for a permanent restaurant. In 2016, owner Morgan Austin took the plunge and opened up in the middle of Llandudno.
Partnering with Jon Orme, proprietor of the nearby Great Orme Brewery, the menu was extended. Alongside classics such as pepperoni, margherita and Hawaiian, you’ll now find a great variety such as beetroot pesto, Peking duck, and mussel marinière on the menu.

Dylan’s Llandudno occupies one of this seaside resort’s most iconic landmarks. It was once the Washington Hotel, a beautiful Grade II-listed property built in 1925 with an impressive copper dome. Now, you’ll find the lovingly restored space that houses one of Dylan’s 3 restaurants – the others are in Criccieth and Menai Bridge.
The views overlooking the sea are especially lovely from the 3rd floor. There’s also a super outside terrace to make the most of summer sunshine. Dylan’s extensive menu features local ingredients such as Welsh lamb and Anglesey crab.
