The county of Derbyshire in England’s East Midlands is famed for being the home of Peak District National Park, the Pennine Hills and part of England’s National Forest. Derbyshire, however, offers plenty of other things to do besides adventures in the vast, untamed wilderness. History enthusiasts can tour the Chatsworth House mansion, the medieval Haddon Hall manor or the stately Elizabethan Hardwick Hall.
