For us this was a fairly late booking. It’s a very pleasant hotel that comprises 20 ‘self-catering’ apartments - a range of 1 and 2 storey buildings, each with its own private balcony / patio area. We had a studio that includes a fitted kitchen and bathroom - very well specified. There is a shared 15m pool and a smaller pool. It is apparent that the hotel (and the area generally) is a popular destination for holidaying Greeks and the fit-out may be a ‘home from home’ for city dwellers.
Good points - nice accommodation, great pool, friendly staff. The nearest town of marithopoli offers a good choice of restaurants. The beach is within 200m.
Bad points - aside from the beach, there is nothing in the immediate vicinity so a car might be deemed essential. While presented as self catering, our accommodation lacked some of the basics you might expect - for example tea towels, bread board, cups, washing-up liquid. We found the poolside music a little loud and intrusive - but that’s a matter of taste. Hotels.com says the reception is open from 6am to 10pm - it wasn’t, which left us in a fix (resolved) for early morning check out.
All that said, we really enjoyed our stay here and used it as a base to visit Olympia, Pylos, Mystras and neda falls. A lot of miles, but good fun.
