If you like big hotels a little outside of town you´re more than happy with this hotel. We stayed there in the middle of July and it wasn´t overbooked or overfull. It provides everything you need, it´s clean, the staff is super friendly, I can´t find any negative to mention.
The private beach access is truly great, the beach was never too crowded, the sandstrand is lovely and there are plenty of parasol and sun loungers provided by the hotel staff.
We could try snorkeling which was great.
We dind´t use the pool or spa, but it looked clean and nice.
We used the fitness area, which was rather small but sufficient because it was not crowded. It was very clean.
Self parking is easy and included in the resort fee. Also wifi is included in the fee.
Maybe the only negative is that breakfast is not included in the proce and is way too expensive in my opinion. But there is a pretty roomy fridge and a coffee maker in the room to do your own breakfast on the terrace, which is a quiet and lovely way to start a day.
I would higly recommend this Hotel, we (family with two small kids) enjoyed it a lot and coudn´t have found a better accommodation.
If you want to have nightlife or feel the pulse of the city of Kona, I would stay in a hotel in the city!
