This was a very unpleasant experience. Traditionally we enjoy La Quinta, but this trip was not up to their usual standards. I completed the pre-check in before we arrived (stated what time we would arrive, photo of my ID, a card for incidentals, and license plate number). When we arrived to finish the check in and get our room key, no one was at the front desk. After waiting roughly ten minutes we decided to call the hotel number in hopes someone would come to assist. After a few tries, a woman walked out of a room with her phone on speaker having a conversation with someone while bare foot. She asked if we were the ones calling, we said yes. She stated we couldn’t have been waiting long because, “I was only in the back for a couple minutes”. She had an unpleasant attitude and also remained on her phone throughout the check in process. She asked for my card for incidentals and I advised we already did that during the online recheck in and she told me no that I didn’t. With her unprofessionalism I didn’t want to argue. When I got to my room I checked my account and I was charged THREE holds. One for $30 and two for $1 each.
Very disappointed in our experience with the woman at check in. I would not recommend this location.
