Checkin was horrible. They couldn’t seem to process my card till manager came, which went on for at least 10 minutes. AC in room was not working, so they sent ‘technician” to fix it. Stayed working long enough to go to sleep. At 1;30am, it was broken again. Front desk wouldn’t answer when I called down multiple times. At 2:48 am I went downstairs to front desk to try to get someone to fix AC again. They said “phone system must not be working, technician is gone”. Moving rooms was not an option at 3am with my wife asleep, until 4 am when she woke because it was so hot. Decided to take cold shower, but could not even get ready in the room because it was so hot. Everything about our 15 year wedding anniversary was perfect, except for this hot hotel room, and poor check in experience. They should absolutely refund the room and $5 water incidentals since they were unable to provide a room with working amenities like air conditioning.
