We choose The Inn on Ferry Street because it is so close to the Detroit Institute of Arts. We loved the charm of the old mansions, but, unfortunately, our room was not very comfortable. While it was super hot outside, our room was 63 degrees and we couldn't change it. There is only one chair (not great for hanging out although the lobbies are comfy), our hair dryer was missing, and the tiny sink with no shelf space for toiletries was not convenient. The breakfast was very minimal and disappointing. It would be relatively easy to add a few elements such as yogurt or granola. There was also no jam on our first day.
