We stayed there twice. First time, our Tour provider had booked for us and the room was small and worn down. Old carpet, tiny bathroom without any shelfs (only place for toilet bag is the toilet seat!).
The room we booked ourselves through expedia was renovated and much nicer, slightly bigger and had laminat floor. But the bathroom was even worse, the shower had an old, far too long shower curtain that you had to stand on while showering.
The staff was excellent. Everybody from check-in to restaurant was really nice and friendly.
The breakfast was very good, everything there and even homemade ginger- and berry-shots.
We used the restaurant once in the evening. The food was really nice, but quite small portions and pricy, but I guess thats normal for Norway.
It seems that lots of buses with Asian tourists use the place. We experienced them as quite rude, but thats not a problem really because we went to breakfast after they left.
Very scenic location, and a supermarket right opposite.
I guess it is ideal for an overnight stay on a round trip.
