I am writing to request assistance regarding a refund issue for a recent booking. Upon arrival at our accommodation, we found the room to be in an unsatisfactory condition, as the floor had not been cleaned. After informing the hostel staff, they offered to change our room. However, the alternative room did not meet our needs, so we decided to remain in the original room, which I cleaned myself.
The hostel staff were very supportive and offered a £15 refund for the inconvenience, which they processed and transferred to Expedia, as the booking was made through your platform. I would now like to request that this refund be credited to my original payment method.
