Unfriendly staff and room not vacuumed
Staff was unfriendly, room was not ready when we went at check in (3 pm) and was told by a very rude staff member “I have no idea when your room will be ready. The housekeeping staff didn’t tell me when you’re room would be done.” When I asked her how long she thought they needed. The manager came out shortly after and explained the housekeeping staff had gotten into a physical fight which is why the rooms wernt ready. The manager did apologize after getting into a verbal altercation with my husband which we appreciated.
The room was fairly clean, except it was fairly obvious that they did not vacuum as there was toe nail clippings on the floor which were not ours. Since they already made us feel that we were inconveniencing them, we chose to just keep our socks on. We were very disappointed in this Holiday Inn, as we travel often and love to stay at them typically. We unfortunately will not be booking Holiday Inn’s that we have not previously stated at from here on out.
