It is a secure comfortable spot in down town LA. I really enjoyed the decor and peace. There are several great eating and drinking venues right next to the hotel that you can also check out. Overall, will definitely be staying here again.

The best boutique hotel in DTLA!
Our stay at the Audemar was great! We decided to get away for a night & stay in DTLA. The price was amazing & the customer service was exceptional. Upon arrival, we met Austin (owner). He immediately helped us with where we should park as well as checked us in. Before entering the lobby, there is a gate & a door that are both locked at all times. Austin provided us with the door codes & the Air BnB type style lock system to our room. This boutique hotel was updated with a modern/vintage type style. Our room was black with a beautiful wood wall. There was a small vintage type mini fridge in the room along with fluffy pillows & white bedding. There are cute pictures, lights & art pieces throughout the room/building & every staff member we met was very nice & happy to welcome us. It’s within walking distance (or very short Uber ride) of a lot of restaurants, bars & clubs which makes for an easy night out. Thank you, Austin for making our experience so amazing! Your friendly personality & outstanding customer service doesn’t go unnoticed. Give the Audemar a chance! Austin has been putting in A LOT of time & hard work to make this space an amazing place to stay. -Leticia & Carlos

I was pleasantly surprised bc I booked this place even though it has some bad reviews but I see that they’ve actually addressed the issues and have stepped up their game. The owner is very nice and he helped me find parking and responded to all my questions. The hotel itself was very clean and I’ll definitely be back :)

This place was super cool, very LA vibes, and unique. Good food spots close by, coffee shops, overall great location. The rooms themselves were also great. Comfortable and clean, and loved the shower. Staff was also helpful and nice with food recommendations and suggestions for things to do in the area. I’d make this my go to spot when I’m LA.

Be aware of the owner and the shady business
The owner came to the property, clearly on some type of substance, asking me to send him $50 extra because the room was to cheaply priced saying that I should’ve even got the room at the rate I did, which is was listed for and went on to cancel my prepaid reservation coming up with some new rule of $250

Don’t recommend this place! I had been there before and it wasn’t that bad but this last time I had some issues! I was charged extra for the room, I got charged like $30 more, and not to mention, the room we were in was leaking! Our room was in bad condition, and part of the wall was coming off! This place is a joke! Don’t stay here!!! Oh, yea and they charge you $250 for a deposit! Too much for a deposit, nicer hotels like the citizen in LA don’t even charge that much. Plus it’s way nicer and more affordable.

Death trap! Don’t stay here
Do not stay here! Nobody works here! And it’s literally a death trap. When you arrive you can’t figure out how to get in. There is no email explaining how to get in. You call the hotel and it’s a Google voice recording answering machine and they text you back from another number. They text you the codes to get through the doors and into the room. But they don’t tell you how to exit the building and it’s not self-explanatory. It’s a death trap! I had to text them to ask how to get out of the building. The room that they sent me to somebody was either staying in or had just checked out. They were lots of food containers and the blankets were pulled halfway off the bed. I text them this is a used room and they sent me to a new room. That night when trying to go to sleep I heard what sounded like crickets. We saw underneath the rug that was pulled up a little bit Bugs. I think there were thousands of them. They offered me a new room. I said the whole buildings infested I want to refund. They said OK. But they never issued a refund. hotels.com said they would look into it but it’s not their responsibility to issue the refund. It is the hotels responsibility. The hotel refused to give me a refund. Even though they clearly said they would issue me a refund because of the bugs! This place needs to be condemned. I will be calling the fire chief because it is a death trap. Additionally just for some icing on the cake. The water does not drain when you’re taking a shower and will soon o

Crickets everywhere. There is no staff on site. Portable AC so you can’t close a window or have black out curtains. TV didn’t work and handles kept falling off the fridge.
