Taking into account that this is a 4 stars hotel, some people used to high standard hotels for business trips could think this is not worth the price.
Actually, I won't recommend you this hotel if you are in Istanbul to meet a client.
But for tuorists, it's a cost effective choice.
Wonderful location: 2 min walking from Sultanahmet Square, 10 form Topkapi Palace and 15 from the Bazar district and harbour. 10 mins walking from Sultanahmet Tram Stop:Tram brings you to Ataturk airport in 1hour with just one change to metro line for only 3TL (less than 1,5EUR/ 2USD).
Breakfast is the best and richest I have ever tasted in a hotel (even better than business code 4/5 stars hotels in Europe).
Staff is friendly and nice, with a fair level of English. Rooms are big, clean and the atmosphere is warm and nice.
Terrace has a wonderful view on the Bosphorus, Marmara See, Aya Sofia and Blue Mosquee.
Cons: rooms are perfectly isolated from the outside, but if your room neighbors are noisy, you'll hear them; WiFi works fine only in some rooms, nonetheless you can ask the waiter for the password for WiFi connection to the hotel next door, which works perfectly; if you are a couple and ask for a double room, specifiz and make sure the bed is really 1 king size, or just 2 single beds near to each other.
If you are not looking for a "Four Seasons" style and don't want to go for a very very cheap solution, this is a valid choice!
