Our stay at the Avila Lighthouse was really nice. Everything was fine and for families a place to be based on the fact that the beach is right in front, all stuff needed for the beach was in good shape and free of charge.
What is really a bit a shame is, that the Resort got into "the years" and it needs some renovation in the rooms and also outside.
The situation that our first room 103 had no real air-conditioning more a uplifted watercooling system ... we switched to room 200 but ... not really better. No air-conditioning. In both rooms was a extra air fan for use.
If there is no real working air-conditioning it should not be noted in the hotel description.
That was the really only thing which was not nice ... in general a nice place to be with families.
