Much needed vacation
Beautiful resort, friendly staff, very clean. We spent the last 9 days there and we had a blast, the nightly entertainment was fun for both kids and adults.
The check in/out process was painful and they did not get any of my requests from hotels.com (2 beds for 4 of us) so we were given a king room, 45mins later we got a room with 2 beds. No communication between the two.
The resort is large and unless you are down reserving chairs by the pools at 7am you will have a hard time getting some together. As a family we found it very difficult to get chairs at all let alone ones with umbrellas for shade. We ended up getting a Bali bed by the pool for 4 days so we didn’t have to stress about going down early. Game changer and I highly recommend getting one. On top of them serving you drinks all day they bring you a bucket of water bottles and they serve you lunch as well so you don’t have to wait online for the burger truck or go to the buffet.
The beach had chairs available until about 9/9:30am but the ocean was closed for swimming 4 out of the 9 days we were there because of a crocodile that swims around. It was very windy on the beach so because of that there was an abundance of seaweed. They had a tractor cleaning it up in the mornings but it wasn’t daily. There were people out there putting it in piles once a day but other than that it just kept accumulating. Overall, the beach was very disappointing so we spent most of our time at the pool.
Waterslides are huge and so fun
