The Hotel shuttle service that we ordered (30 EUR one direction) didn’t show up at the airport. I must remind that we ordered shuttle via e-mail, and we didn't pay it in advance. So we had to take a taxi. Taxi rate was app 16 EUR from the Ataturk airport to the hotel, Sultanahmet district - historical center of the city. So the taxi was OK and much cheaper than Hotel shuttle, but it cost us nerves waiting on the shuttle that never arrived at the airport. We gave a good rating for the reception services, however we have to give a low rating for Hotel team, service and condition of the hotel for the reasons of:
- There was no refilling of the breakfast buffet. So if you come late (let's say at 15 to 10am), you will find only what has been left. I asked for the scrambled eggs, because there was no any left. But they refused to serve it.
- The breakfast wasn’t served at the hotel’s roof terrace, which has a nice view. I cannot understand why, when we noticed that nearby hotels served the breakfast on the roof terrace.
- Insulation of the room is very bad, especially in direction of the hallway. Also in the morning you could be woken by staff cleaning the rooms and hallways;
- The last morning of our stay, at app. 9am, someone was slamming with hammer in the nearby room. Repairment works in the morning when guests might be sleeping?!;
