The rooms felt extremely claustrophobic, given the size and lack of windows. The lighting is awful in both bathroom and room, so getting in ready there was not an option. The combination of windowless rooms, dark decor and bad lighting produced a disorienting feeling overall. Strange water sounds at night woke us up, I imagine in the pipes above the room. Most staff were friendly and helpful, both at check out and a little during our stay, however, the self check-in and general unstaffedness of the hotel left us with an uncomfortable feeling. After our first night at Zedwell Greenwich, we left the room without the sign for the door, so we expected it to be cleaned. However, it was not cleaned and only 1 out of 4 towels were replaced. None of the dirty towels were taken, remaining in the shower. The bed was not made. The second night, we asked for an extra duvet as a thin duvet for two people in February is just not enough. Since housekeeping were not in at the time, we were not able to get another duvet, although the staff member did offer to help us with the heating settings. It’s safe to say that we will not be staying at a Zedwell hotel again.
