loved the sea urchin(!)
the sea gull inn is a very lovely place, no doubt. breakfast was very good, the garden beautiful, staff was very friendly and doing a very good job. we stayed two nights in the small blue room, the sea urchin, which was wonderful and very cozy. however, to say that the sea gull inn has wifi, is not really true. technically speaking there is wifi, yes. but does it work? no.
the room does not need a tv or something, it probably would destroy its lovely charme, but working internet is an essential for travelling people. check the weather, message friends and family (tell them about lovely sea gull inn and mendocino), check the route for the next day. there are plenty of reasons and to be honest, in 2018 there is no excuse for a not working wifi, which even the cheapest motel6 (no offence) is able to offer its guests.
