Upon entry to the property I was surprised as it appeared quite quaint. The driveway leading up to it left much to be desired however as you need to backout of steep narrow entry onto the road. It is high up in the woods, so this may have been the problem that lead me to allergy and breathing issues. As I was unloading my car, my friend was trying to hook up the wifii, it never came up even after repeated communication and attempts. Breathing became difficult and the house was a bit musty so this might have played into the problem also. I decided to reload my vehicle and leave. I did communicate this immediately. I was there an hour and left. I was able to recover on the way back down and out of town again to Liberty Hill, so I did not need to go to the doctors or ED. As anyone knows to remove yourself from the situation. After repeated attempts with communicating host and Expedia to cancel, nothing was done. Expedia even went so far as to charge me large amount of money for early cancellation, saying that they would refund me the trip costs, but this never happened either and now I am out lots $$$$ for the cost of the property for 20 days, which I stayed none of and the Expedia charge to my credit card. Travel insurance is a joke and does nothing! I will never book through Expedia again. You should always have the option of canceling early. I do not recommend this place unless you are completely allergy free, want no wifii and don't mind being very remote.
