The rooms there are very basic, beds are not really comfortable, furniture is old-fashioned. There is a sink in the bedroom and the bathroom has a toilet and a shower (water was just warm, not hot). Our room wasn't really dirty, but not really clean either. The sheets seemed to be clean but the bedcover was rather filthy. There is no heating and it gets pretty cold at night. The blankets there were just enough to keep warm, so make sure you bring warm clothes (also for the sunrise tour!!). So all in all, it's not really cozy there.
BUT: This hotel is located right at the edge of the crater, which is the biggest plus point. From there you can easily do the sunrise tour in the early morning. You have to get up at 3am anyway, so the night in the cold room is short. After the sunrise tour you can have breakfast (basic, but ok), take a shower and then leave.
Given the fact that you are in a mountain village at 2200m a.s.l., at the edge of a crater, you can't expect to find an extravagant hotel there. I think, this is the best you can get! That's why I would definitely recommend staying there, but only for one night (to do the sunrise tour).
