for just a shower
Staff assigned us to an upstairs room. Neither of the two card keys worked. When I went back to the desk, I asked about a ground floor room. Only one of the card keys worked. When I turned on the TV, after a while the manufacturer's logo appeared, that it HDM1 was connected and that there was no signal. Staff from the front desk inputted a channel number, and it worked. There was nothing in the room to tell that was the way it was supposed to work. The room was next to the vending machine area, which also included the ice machine. We could hear the traffic there all night. Breakfast is strictly continental; no hot food, though they did have hot beverages. Our opinion of the restaurant next door is sliding. We are local. Our house water was out.

Needs updating, matress had indentation marks and weren't very comfortable. The morning breakfast is not worth anything, but there is a restaurant right next door.

This lodge was given an 8.6 rating. I don't think it even qualifies for a 6.0. The room stunk from the smell of human and/or pet urine. We did not stay, nor did we ask for a refund, although I will be contacting Hotels.com/Expedia to request.

Weekend Stay for Sierra Bigfoot Music Festival
This is the second stay we have had at Aladdin Inn, and it won't be the last. Its a little dark in the room, and the breakfast is lacking a bit. But its clean and cheap, the beds are nothing special but they won't kill your back, like others in the area will, plus there's a nice little cafe about 25 feet from the lobby, My Garden Cafe. Pool is clean, hot tub is working, and the showers have great water pressure. 5 stars!!!!!

This is obviously an older property, but it is very well maintained and secure. The furniture in the room is dated, but the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful as well. We would definitely stay there again.
