We lost almost 40 minutes before reaching it. The name on the door of the still-in-construction building is The Grand Hotel, so not matching with the one showed while booking. I went up to 20th floor where the reception is, to be sure I was in the right place. Everything was quite strange because it looked like they had no idea wether I had a booking by them or not. They were checking me in without even answering to my question (wether it was the right place or not). They could not tell me if I had a booking there but we went through the check in. There I was told I had to pay, whereas I already paid by credit card when I booked. For 5 minutes : customer stating "I already paid", them saying "no you did not". I logged in to my hotels.com account to show them I was right. Bad experience, extremely unprepared and unfriendly!
At the restaurant the waiters were extremely friendly and that's the only positive part of my stay.
Room was left with curtain spread, so that it got sun from the morning until 15:30 when we entered it. You can guess the temperature inside. Furniture was not that bad, but not good either. No fridge in a 4* hotel was quite surprising/upsetting.
I have no idea how such a place got the reviews they got, really.
I would suggest anyone to stay away from this hotel
