I really wanna give these guys some creditâŠI wanna say it was greatâŠbut it just wasnât as good as what I expected from a rating of 8.8 on Hotels.com and the price we paid. The staff was awesome and helpful, very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and warm and there was a little bit of variety, but overall what you typically get for a hotel breakfast. The pool area seemed nice, but I admit I didnât use it. The beds were comfortable and we rested well. The location is great. ButâŠ.there are obviously two sections to this placeâŠa newer, much nicer section that is likely clean and well appointedâŠI caught a glimpse of a room that had nice furniture, a fireplace, and was very roomy. For the older section, which we stayed in, it is dated, dirty, and worn. The air condition struggled to keep up and was noisy. The sink didnât drain. The bathroom floor had so much dirt in the grout and corners I wished I had shower sandles to wear in there, the toilet is obviously original and was tinyâŠthe towels literally had holes in them and were stained (I donât even want to think about what the stains were). There was also simply not enough parking in front of the rooms and the spaces are tinyâŠso we parked around the building to avoid our car being hit by doors of other cars. So, we had the good, the bad, and the ugly. I wouldnât tell you to not stay thereâŠbut do yourself a favor and choose the new rooms! I felt a bit ripped off to be honest.
