The apartment itself was clean, neat, and well located. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience for a couple reasons. First, the property manager was not on-site as promised in our communication. When we buzzed the door she let us know we could do the automatic check-in process. However, the machine didn't recognize any of our credit cards and we had to wait for her to come to the property to check us in. They billed me for the entire amount while Hotels.com said I had already paid a deposit, so that was another issue.
The property manager had not left additional sheets and cover for the couch/twin bed so we had to request that late at night and didn't receive a response for an hour. Also I had complained about the noise from the next building and even though they tried to address this with the store next door it was still loud at night when we returned to the apartment. I was told when I tried multiple ways to contact the manager that I needed to go to the outside buzzer (on the street) if I wished to communicate with her. The phone number they had had two 00 in front for some reason and she didn't seem to like that I called the number directly on my phone and tried WhatsApp when I didn't get a response. I also got asked why I would need additional sheets when "it's only two people." Frankly it's none of her business. Hasn't she ever traveled with a friend who snores? Or had someone who just wanted their space? That's why we rented the apartment in the first place.
