I stayed in the Franklin for one night. They upgraded the room with my Hotels.com gold membership. The room was really nice and clean. However, the bottle of Prosecco that was supposed to be included was nowhere to be seen. I also had the pre bought breakfast option for roughly 40 GBP. I was told when I checked in that I had the full English Breakfast included. To my surprise, next morning when having breakfast, they said that I only had the continental breakfast included. That option was only 30 GBP so much less than I paid. I pointed that out and I asked the server to confirm that I only had the Continental breakfast included. She confirmed that it was the case. At check out, I specifically mentioned the lack of the bottle and the breakfast. They were really apologetic but I don’t think it’s ok for a five star hotel to miss out on these things.
