Positive:
Good situation for exploring Lisbon. Friendly staff. Clean look & feel.
Negative::
- Overall Hotel does not deserve anymore 5-star rating in international comparison, and correspondingly pricing, i.e. is heavily overpriced. Max 3-4 stars would be adequate, also regarding the rates. No "seleccion"- certification deserved, as not noticeable. Short-stay business hotel rather than holiday hotel.
Most significant aspects:
- Size, decoration and furnishing of public spaces as well as the rooms is not 5-star standard. In the whole hotel, fresh air ventillation is a serious problem, as generally, windows cannot be opened (-> Corona etc. risk.) Corridors are much too narrow, overheated without fresh air, strange smells, Also restaurant lacks fresh air Perfume in the Lobby does not help.
- Elevators: too few, too small, too old
- Room: No windows to open, just aircon. Modernistic designer decoration without much functionality and "cheap" impression. Sink and tap design higly unpractical and not hygenic.
- Breakfast: ok for 3-4-star standard, not 5-star. Mediocre cooking, often not much taste.
Overall, unfortunately, a disappointment and unproportionally overpaid.
