The stay was alright but the front desk service was atrocious. From the get go they tried telling us we were doing something wrong with the wifi password when the fault was theirs. Finally they called their tech guy and they fixed it. Right after that they were giving us our room keys and the 4 of us booked identical rooms. 3 of us were Americans and 1 guy was a local friend. We were wondering why he wasn't following behind us and they tried saying they didn't have anymore rooms. We booked it and saw all the keys their for our rooms 27, 28, 29, & 30. We already had our 27-29 rooms and it wasn't till we came back and said we aren't staying at this hotel unless our friend is staying next to us. Then they told us it wasn't a problem and gave him the room that was booked for him.
The room floors are pretty dirty. The Sea View deluxe rooms has a steel cage that obstructs the view. The sliding doors don't lock. The bath tub has a mat that you will about break your back by it slipping and sliding around. The food was okay and the dining staff was excellent. Overall it was fine for a night, but we won't be staying there again after the stunt they tried to pull with our Sierra Leone friend. He should be treated like everyone else and was a paying customer. The front desk people just would chuckle to themselves and need some serious training in the hospitality industry.
