Terrible stay
Our stay was unfortunately terrible. The temperature outside was 39C and the sircondition was almost not working. We were struggling to change rooms but even in other room the AC condition was same. It was too hot during the day and night as well and had a terrible sleep.

Had to abandon our reservation because no where did it say that if you had a rental car you would have to park in a public parking where you can barely maneuver and then take your own bags a few blocks up hills by yourself. A disaster, stay away if you are driving!

Cozy, historic place to stay in Cordoba
The hotel is absolutely charming. It’s a very old, but extremely well, and lovingly restored. However, that said, they have worked with the footprint they were given, so our room as small, the bathroom small. I don’t know if there are larger suites upstairs, but the only thing our room did have, which was fun, was a mikvah (ritual bath for purification prior to entry into the Temple).

Everything one could wish for.
Hotel Madinat is everything one could wish for — charming, beautiful, slightly eccentric. Splendid rooftop terrace with shade and bar service. Handmade chocolates left in the room. And our room had a moorish soaking tub! Super nice staff. This was my second stay and I hope to see it again.

Beautiful and Unique vs Comfort
Hotel Madinat is a very unique and beautiful hotel based on the original centuries old age of the building. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. However, the comfort level regarding the space within the room is awkward and tight. Although the room has all updated modern amenities, the bathroom rather than the bedroom is the focal point. The surprising open shower set within an oversized “tub” at the entry and in the middle of the hotel room is awkward. It significantly impacts the space of the entire room. In contrast, the bathroom sink is exceptionally small. As a senior, I suggest caution in this room choice despite the many positive aspects of this hotel.

No on-site parking. You'll likely have to park a km away, or more, and then walk to the hotel. The uniqueness of the bathroom really affords no privacy within the room. It's basically using the toilet behind a window.
