Buon soggiorno
Struttura molto grande, eravamo alloggiate al 5' piano. Camera piccola ma letto queen size davvero comodo. Pulizia ok. Personale di reception cordiale. Colazione a buffet buona. 10-15 min a piedi da diverse stazioni metropolitane. Consigliato.

ottima soluzione per viaggio a new york
albergo un po decendrato rispetto al centro di new york ma ciò ha permesso di avere prezzi migliori e la zona è servitissima da mezzi pubblici Ottima colazione , servizi vari gentilezza e molta disponibilità da parte del personale Materassi e cuscini incredibilmente comodi Ottima pulizia e sicuramente a mio parere è un hotel da raccomandare Ottima la presenza di forno microonde in camera

ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e disponibilità
La via Butler street non è delle migliori, si percepisce di essere in una zona molto periferica ed inisieme alla colazione , non eccellente sia nel cibo proposto sia nella sala in cui viene servita, rappresenta la nota dolente dell'hotel. Per il resto pulizia discreta, cortesia del personale (ci hanno permesso di fare un'escursione fuori New York di 2 notti consentendoci di depositare il bagaglio lì gratuitamente, davvero gentilissimi!!), discreta vicinanza alla metro di Union Street e al centro commerciale Barclays. Offrono bottigliette d'acqua gratuite ogni giorno a richiesta e dispongono.di un atm machine per i prelievi di contante. Anche il Wi-Fi funziona discretamente. Una esperienza che consiglio sicuramente.

The room was small but we managed to stay in four persons. Two teenagers and two adults. Convenient for subway to Manhattan. Very crowded breakfast room.

Buon hotel economico a Brook
L'hotel è a Boerum Hill, quartiere incuneato tra Cobble Hill eV Park Slope in piena riconversione e ricostruzione da zona industriale a zona residenziale: ad es a lato dell'hotel c'è un enorme spazio dove verrà costituito un nuovo palazzo, così come sta avvenendo nei dintorni. Comodo per la metto, varie stazioni vicino tra cui quella della metto A, ottima linea espressa che porta rapidamente a Manhattan e, nella direzione opposta, all'Air Shuttle per JFK. Colazione gratuita, macchinetta x i waffle, qualità discreta, indubbiamente una comodità. Camera molto spaziosa, bagno ampio con vasca, buona pulizia. Personale ultra cordiale e gentile. Infine economico visti i prezzi degli hotel in giugno a Manhattan, che si raggiunge facilmente in metro. E poi Brooklyn merita, ci si sta benissimo, c'è tutto, splendido lungo fiume, etc.

Hotel nicht zu empfehlen
Wir, zwei befreundete Ehepaare, hatten im September zwei Zimmer in dem Hotel gebucht und auch schon im voraus vollständig bezahlt. Bei Ankunft im Hotel und nachdem wir alle unsere Koffer schon aus dem Taxi ausgeladen hatten, wurde uns an der Rezeption des Red Lion Inn gesagt, dass das Hotel zur Zeit nicht verfügbar wäre und wir stattdessen in einem anderen Hotel einchecken sollten, und zwar im Holiday Inn Express in Brooklyn. Unser Taxifahrer war noch da und brachte uns dann ins Holiday Inn Express, das eine sehr gute Lage zur U-Bahn hat. Unsere Zimmer dort waren in Ordnung, nur leider wurde uns von diesem Hotel für ein Zimmer wieder der Zimmerpreis abgebucht, obwohl es schon im voraus bezahlt wurde. Hotels.com hatte uns 3 Tage vorher noch gemailt, dass unser Hotel Red Lion Inn zum Einchecken bereit stünde. Ich hätte aber erwartet, dass Hotels.com mich in diesem Fall informieren würde, dass das Hotel zur Zeit keine Zimmer zur Verfügung stellt. So hätten wir gar nicht erst dorthin fahren müssen, sondern gleich in das alternativ angebotene Hotel Holiday Inn Express. Ansonsten hat uns unser Aufenthalt in Brooklyn sehr gut gefallen.

Location close to subway, and staff were for most part very nice. Breakfast included is nice option. There was flooding one night above our floor (we were on 3rd), so our neighboring room had to be disturbed for emergency repairs to be made -- from about 2am into the next day -- to our floor and, presumably, to others, including the lobby ceiling. But let's assume that was a one-off.

Nous avons été déplacé vers le hollyday inn express deux rues plus loin.... Et là nous sommes tombé sur un hôtel familial très bon petit déjeuner personnel sympa chambre propre et bonne literie quartier sympa possibilité de manger dans les alentours

Niet geweest is een daklozen centrum geworden.
Geen Hotel meer maar daklozen centrum, personeel aanwezig had wel een betere alternatief voor ons geregeld, eigenaar had het pand verkocht.

No room for my booking
I was told to go to a different hotel two blocks away. No advance notice about the hotel I booked being not able to accommodate my stay. Very strange without any real explaination on why it happened. The hotel I was directed to was even less helpful.

Brooklyn rocks
When we got to the hotel, we were told that it was used as a shelter. However they paid for cabride to a neighbouring hotel: Holiday Inn, which suited us just fine. It was closer to commerce and transport. So I can't say anything about the Red Lion, but I'm happy they relocated us, because I didn't really like the neighbourhood.

This is no longer a hotel. It is a Homeless Center. DO NOT BOOK this Hotel! We booked this hotel months ago and no one ever emailed or contacted us that it was no longer open to the public. It is a Homeless Center.

This hotel is now a flop house
This hotel had been sold 3 weeks prior to our arrival and we didn't even get an email about this. We had to check in at this now flop house and then travel about a mile to a Holiday Inn. The girl on the desk was very helpful but I am not amused that we had to find out about this when we got there. Some friends who were meeting us the next day also had to check in there despite being accommodated in the Holiday Inn. Very, Very poor service from Expedia.

OVERBOOKED OUR ROOM! Nowhere to stay!!!
TERRIBLE!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! We had booked our double room MONTHS in advance, but when we arrived they were “overbooked”. There wasn’t a single manager on site, the woman at the front desk had only been working there for a week, and she had no idea how to fix the problem. She kept calling her boss on her cell phone to try and get the situation resolved, but the manager wasn’t helpful and refused to speak with us or come in to work to remedy the situation. We asked if there were ANY rooms available, and the desk stated that they were actually NEGATIVE a room, and that one of the rooms was out of order. They called the Holiday Inn Express to see if they could send us to them, and then told us that WE would have to order AND PAY FOR a taxi to another hotel! We asked for a refund, as we WEREN’T going to be staying in the hotel because they had overbooked our room, and the hotel refused. They stated that if we wanted a refund we would have to accept a SINGLE BED room, that they were pretty sure hadn’t been cleaned, and that if we took the dirty room we would only get a 25% refund OF THE FIRST NIGHT! Once the Holiday Inn Express called back, The Red Lion receptionist paid a cab driver OUT OF HER OWN POCKET, because the hotel refused to cover our relocation, to get us to the other hotel.... Where we were put in the very last room they had open, with a door that WOULDN’T LATCH CORRECTLY. Not only was our reservation not honored, our safety was put at risk. Disgusted.

Good hotel for price.
It isn’t easy to find a hotel for under $200 in Brooklyn that is still nice. The only thing missing was a microwave. I was happening to have one cause I stayed multiple days and I wanted to save on food. But besides that...obviously small issue...the hotel was great for its price.

Weekend at Red Lion
Did not realize parking was extra,that is not standard procedure at other hotels I had stayed before in that area of Brooklyn.Also unaccostomed to the security charges, but don’t mind providing we do get it back as promised. Did not like the random 33$ charge that appeared on my credit card that I need to call the hotel about,no idea why I was charged that. The bed was super comfortable,as well as the bedding and pillows. Bathroom nice size,clean,and loved the bath products. The coffee in the dining room,available 24/7,was delicious. The food included in the free breakfast the usual boring selections,some muffins or danish would have been appreciated. Area of Brooklyn hotel in has lots of places in walking distance nearby,including subway stop and Barclays Center. Area immediately surrounding hotel a bit shabby with empty lots around,warehouses,and a lot of litter. All the staff at the hotel were most kind,no complaints there.
