Customer service was good. Friendly and customer oriented. Room looked ok. Slightly clean looking. Just a few obervation. Bed and TV were good. Few bugs and worn furniture. Didnt you a clean feeling.
I will admit that this is completely my fault. I booked this hotel as a last minute decision without properly researching it. It did have decent stars on hotels.com but I should have dug deeper.
I booked for two nights but upon my arrival I quickly realized this may have been a mistake. I tried to stay positive. Once in the lobby as I began to check in, a lady came through the door to report that her room she had just checked into had BED BUGS! She was traveling from Texas and was stopping for the night. They refused to give her a refund and inform see her that they would just swap her to another room. Iâm not sure how that was possible because they were sold out. Anyway⊠this freaked me out but I had no choice but to complete the check in process at this point because it was clear they werenât going to refund anyone.
I was very disappointed in our stay at this hotel. The room had mold all over. The bedding was dirty. We did not get enough towels, asked for more and staff said they had no more. Bathroom was very humid and smelled so moldy and staff was very dismissive. There was also roaches!
Older property that has been remodeled. This property is mostly an extended stay, so most people there are residents. The outside property is very well kept and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. The interiors are just ok. The beds and bathroom were clean, but it is a high use property, so the rooms need to be deeply cleaned in areas Ike the tile, bathroom doors, etc. I donât know if I would stay again because I felt overall the interior needed a deep clean. That said, it was quiet and very close to the Gulf Shores National Seashore visitor center, so itâs a convenient location.
The rooms are nasty, mold in them and dirty walls. we booked a king and got a full. The pictures are nothing like the property. I felt unsafe like i was going to be robbed
Easy check in, room was clean just can tell it's an older hotel. Sits behind a gas station and car wash so not the easiest to find. The shower was OMG wonderful ( although it could take paint off a car) Stayed 3 days and they never changed out the towels, had to ask for fresh ones. Was fairly quiet which was nice
We arrived just as the office was closing. She was accommodating but you're left on your own after 8. Was a studio but not a stitch of anything in the kitchen area. Clean, newer but keep in mind this is extended stay so folks are hanging out and cooking smells drift into other rooms! We were lucky our neighbors were fairly quiet after 10.
Hotel charges $5 when you arrive in addition to payment on Hotels.com. Office is only open 9-8, so donât expect to check in late here. The first room i was given was trashed and smelled of cigarettes. The next room was better but had hair all over the bathroom floor. Lots of sketchy folks hanging out around the parking lot, this is not the place to stay for a family trip. A/C worked and the bed was comfortable. Donât expect too much if you stay here.
This was a very weird experience. I had to ask to change rooms as my door did not close nor lock on the first room. The desk clerk was very nice and changed rooms for me. Then both nights I was there, there was a man yelling at all hours of the night how the govt had done him wrong and he was gonna do this and that , pacing the outside of the room near mine and it was very unconfortable. I couldnt report it to the staff as they are not there after 8pm until the next morning so on the 2nd night of this, I just got in my car in the middle of the night and left. I would not ever stay here again and yes, I understand its a motel but too many sketchy people for me
This is the 3rd year Iâve stayed here in March for vacation & will be back next year. The staff is awesome and the rooms are clean. Canât beat the location - Walmart, Government St & beach are all close by
