My husband and I had booked 3 nights there. We were greeted by the owner, who had a big smile and was very welcoming. However, it soon became clear that she was unable to communicate more than a few words in either French or English so we were unable to ask her questions or express any concerns about our accommodation, which was frustrating. She was not even able to explain what was served for breakfast, and just kept pointing at a sign that said 'petit déjeuner'. I tried in both English and French, but her answers were monosyllablic/incomprehensible. Fortunately, the next day we discovered that her son seemed to be able to at least string a few words together into sentences in both languages, so I recommend that she appoints him to deal with guests instead.
However, this was not the only issue. The fridge was dirty and the room we were given was clearly not the one I had booked...the room bore little resemblance to photos when booking. Also, we found that neither the curtains nor the sheets had been ironed and the doors and windows were so difficult to open and close. Also, my husband and I had booked 3 nights, but we had only been left 3 pods for the coffee machine. When we went the second night (Friday) to ask the son for more coffee, he told us there would be no more coffee until the delivery on Monday! (Luckily, he found a couple of pods, but declared that this was 'the last of the last'!)
Anyway, I will say that the location was nice...but much better service needed.
