This place could/should be charming and quirky, but is not. The front desk person is kind and friendly, but that's about the only thing that was good. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything your neighbors are saying, along with the drag racing on the main drag. The view from my room was not of a charming town square, but rather a Reilly Auto Parts. The furnishings in my room were plain, brown, and ugly. I was expecting art deco color, and instead got house flipper decor. The owners could benefit from touring some McMenamins properties. Someone needs to get more creative.
