As others have mentioned, this is an older hotel, but I still felt like it's well-maintained and the age didn't negatively impact my stay.
You can't beat the location in regards to walking down to the waterfront and exploring all of the piers or catching a ferry or guided boat tour. It's also a short walk to the Pioneer Square light rail station, which easily connects you to the airport.
I know there is a homeless problem nearby, but I did not have any bad experiences or encounters.
As for my room, I was upgraded (from a full bed to a queen), and the room met my needs. Comfortable bed and a functioning AC, as well as WiFi.
The free breakfast is solid too.
I'd definitely consider staying here again primarily due to location.
