There are only two positive aspects of this property: the friendly reception staff and the convenient location. Unfortunately, the quality of the rooms leaves much to be desired.
Despite being assured of a "deep clean," my room was still unclean on a second attempt. Thick dust coated the picture frames above the bed (which I had to clean myself), and there was a gap in the bathroom between the bath and shower that had clearly been neglected for some time—alive bugs included (I cleaned this too). The carpets were littered with stuck-on gum and food, the sofas were stained, and the fridge area had not been cleaned in ages. The curtains were falling down (unfortunately, I didn’t photograph this), and the bath plug was unusable as its seal had completely disintegrated.
To make matters worse, one cleaning staff member displayed unprofessional behavior, directing their stress at me as a guest. When I raised concerns, I was met with the response: "We are understaffed, so what do you want? Now or tomorrow?" This confrontational attitude was entirely inappropriate. While I understand they were facing staffing challenges, this is not something a guest should have to endure.
Overall, this was a highly disappointing stay. I wouldn’t stay here again and strongly recommend spending an extra $50–$60 for a proper hotel experience elsewhere.
