“Budget Inn” means there are two double beds with two pillows each, a decent blanket, cold mini fridge, working microwave, a tiny bar of soap, and two towels. It’s 85% clean. There is no coffee, there are no pictures, there aren’t outlet covers on half the outlets and they spark when you plug things in. Supplies like towels are only available between 10-4 while housekeeping is on site. You have to get your key cards renewed every day at the office. $50 cash deposit.
The location is noisy with lots of road traffic, cars going down the alley playing deafening music, pedestrians talking and partying.
Office staff is really nice.
It’s a cheap option if you really need a place to crash on your way through. Not recommended for multiple nights or with your family while you’re visiting/attending activities in St Pete.
